About My Waifu Cards
Fan-made anime trading card collection tracker
The story behind this site
I've been collecting anime trading cards for years — Weiss Schwarz boxes stacked on a shelf, Goddess Story binders, WIXOSS decks that never quite got finished. The problem I kept running into: no single place to look up a card, check what I was missing, or see what a rare was actually selling for. Spreadsheets broke. Set lists scattered across wikis in three languages. eBay searches produced noise.
So I built this. My Waifu Cards started as a local database script that grew into a public site. Every card is hand-imported, every set page built from real card data. The collection tracker uses the same system I use personally to manage my own collection.
I know these games well — not just the names, but the set structures, how rarities work, which SP parallels are actually chased, why certain WIXOSS sets trade high despite low pull rates. That knowledge is reflected in how the site is organized, what metadata is surfaced, and how search is tuned.
What the database covers
Currently 50,927 cards across 425 sets and 12 series, with images, rarities, and set metadata:
- Weiss Schwarz — the dominant anime TCG worldwide, published by Bushiroad. 155 sets covering franchises from Sword Art Online and Re:Zero to Hololive and Kaguya-sama, ~29,400 cards. Both Japanese and English editions.
- Lycee Overture — Broccoli's long-running anime TCG. 79 sets catalogued, ~6,700 cards.
- Divine Cross — Qureate's character-art fantasy TCG, 103 sets, ~3,900 cards. Underrepresented online — this might be one of the more complete references available in English.
- WIXOSS — Takara Tomy's strategic card game with a dark original anime. Unique LRIG and SIGNI mechanic. 30 sets catalogued, ~4,400 cards.
- Goddess Story — a Chinese indie trading card series with genuinely high-quality character art. 31 sets across numbered volumes plus mini sets, ~3,600 cards. Popular with collectors who prioritise illustration over gameplay.
- hololive OFFICIAL CARD GAME — Bushiroad's official VTuber card game. 17 sets, ~1,600 cards.
- Maiden Party and Senpai Goddess Haven — smaller Chinese indie series in the same vein as Goddess Story, 9 sets combined.
- Yueka and Genki Parade — doujin box-art reference pages (cover, specs, and purchase link rather than a full per-card list) for smaller independent Chinese card brands.
- Others — standalone doujin sets that don't belong in a dedicated series yet, catalogued the same way as Yueka and Genki Parade.
The Yueka, Genki Parade, and Others entries are reference pages for independently produced doujin card boxes rather than fully catalogued card-by-card sets — we link to the AliExpress listing and note what's confirmed about the release, but don't claim per-card data we don't have.

Collector notes by series
Weiss Schwarz — what new collectors should know
Weiss Schwarz sets come in two editions: Japanese (JP) and English (EN). JP sets typically release 6–12 months before EN. Not all JP sets receive an EN release — check the full set list for what's catalogued here. Each set has a fixed rarity distribution: C (Common), U (Uncommon), R (Rare), RR (Double Rare), RRR (Triple Rare), SP (Special Parallel), SSP, and occasional signature cards. SPs and SSPs are the chase cards and trade at significant premiums on the secondary market.
Goddess Story — edition guide
The NS numbering follows Volumes (NS-01 through NS-11) plus Mini Sets within each volume (e.g., NS-02-M02). Mini sets are typically smaller print runs — 20–30 cards — and tend to be harder to find complete. The SYJH sub-series uses different numbering. If you're starting out, Volumes 5 and 9 have some of the most sought-after character art.
WIXOSS — DIVA expansion explained
The WXDi sets (DIVA expansion) shifted the game toward a team-based format with new card types. If you're comparing older WX sets to newer WXDi sets, the mechanics differ significantly. The DIVA sets have more consistent card art standards and have seen growing collector interest outside of competitive play.
Data sources and accuracy
Card data comes from official publisher sources, community wikis, and direct set imports. Each card entry is matched to its actual image before going into the database — there are no placeholder entries. The database currently has 98.9% image coverage across all cards (a small number of promotional or event-exclusive cards from certain WS sets are not publicly available).
Card images are the intellectual property of their respective publishers (Bushiroad, Takara Tomy, Qureate, and others) and are used here for fan reference and collection tracking purposes only. This is a non-commercial fan project.
Price data is sourced from the eBay API and TCGPlayer and updates periodically. Prices reflect real recent sales — not fixed values.

Frequently asked questions
What is Weiss Schwarz?
Weiss Schwarz is a collectible card game published by Bushiroad, featuring characters from licensed anime and video game franchises. Each set is themed around a specific IP — Hololive, Attack on Titan, Sword Art Online, and hundreds more — and uses mechanics like level, power, soul triggers, and climax cards. It is the most widely collected anime TCG outside Japan, with official English editions distributed globally.
What is Goddess Story?
Goddess Story (NS series) is a Chinese indie trading card series known for its illustration quality. Unlike competitive TCGs, it has no gameplay — cards are purely collectible. Sets are released in numbered Volumes and Mini Sets, each featuring characters from different anime and game IPs. My Waifu Cards covers all 30+ sets with full card images.
What is WIXOSS?
WIXOSS is a strategic trading card game by Takara Tomy with a dark original anime adaptation. It uses LRIGs (avatar cards representing the player) and SIGNIs (battlefield support cards). The game has had several rule revisions; the current DIVA format (WXDi sets) introduced team mechanics and is the active competitive format.
What is Divine Cross?
Divine Cross is a Japanese fantasy trading card game published by Qureate. Each of the 103 sets has a distinct character theme with high-quality anime-style art. It is less visible internationally than WS or WIXOSS, which is part of why cataloguing it here felt worth doing.
Where can I track my anime card collection?
My Waifu Cards lets you mark cards as owned (with copy counts) or wanted across all series in the database. No account is required — your collection is saved in your browser. Sign in with Google or Discord to sync it across devices.
Where can I find anime card prices?
Individual card pages show live eBay sold listings (via the eBay API) and TCGPlayer market prices for Weiss Schwarz and WIXOSS cards. Prices are updated periodically and reflect actual recent transactions.
What is the difference between Weiss Schwarz Japanese and English editions?
English editions are officially licensed and translated by Bushiroad for Western markets and are typically legal in EN-format tournaments. Japanese editions release first and include some sets that never receive EN localisation. Both editions are catalogued separately on this site — you can filter by set code prefix (WS-* for English, or check the series page).
How many anime trading cards are in the database?
The database currently contains 50,927 cards across 425 sets and 12 series. It is updated as new sets are imported.
