Where the Series Started
欲望の梦 is the original release that Dream Of Desire 2 later followed up — 25 standard-size cards establishing the elegant, detailed-clothing aesthetic that the sequel kept but didn't repeat character-for-character. If you're deciding which volume to start with, this is the one with the original roster; Vol. 2's cast doesn't overlap with it at all.
FAQ
Should I buy this before Dream Of Desire 2?
Not required — each volume stands alone with its own roster, so you can start with either.
Can I buy single cards instead of the full box?
Some AliExpress listings and eBay resellers offer singles from opened boxes — check current availability.
