M4A1 is the leader of the AR-Team, but lacks experience. Therefore, she is often described as a rather unreliable T-Doll lacking in decisiveness. M4A1 has a tendency for self-blame and second-guessing herself because she was told she is more important than other T-Doll since her creation.
